It's all about the Benjamins and the SEC wants to be on top. 2020 revenue

by conference IN A PANDEMIC year according to USA Today:
B1G: $768.9M the most revenue generated by a Power Five conference
SEC: $728.9M
PAC-12: $533.8M
ACC: $496.7M
Big12: $409.2M.

Adding TX and OU to the SEC will probably push them over the $800M mark. The ACC and Big 12 are sucking money fumes. We can't compete at their levels with conference money almost doubled up by the B1G and SEC.
